This edition is a adaptation of AUTOUR DE LA LUNE (1870) by Edward Roth. Roth also published an unauthorized translation of the second part of Verne's Moon voyage as ALL AROUND THE MOON (1876), as well as a pirated edition of HECTOR SERVADAC (adapted as TO THE SUN? and OFF ON A COMET [1878]).
