Detailed promotional with rates of fare and time tables, as well as detailed information for connections to other railroad lines and principal stage lines and list of "principal points in the West with modes of conveyance and routes by which they can be reached [which] will be convenient to the travelling public, in laying out proposed trips over the great Overland Route." Tourist destinations include Colorado resorts and Yellowstone National Park. Two pages are devoted to Yosemite and "California Tourists' Resorts." Issued annually; copies dated 1881 and 1885 have been observed. Wrappers worn, creased and chipped at edges, largest chip from upper fore-edge corner of rear cover with loss of a few letters, some tape repairs to wrappers, mostly along spine panel, internally very good.
