White was Superintendent of Sequoia National Park for twenty-five years and concurrently managed Kings Canyon National Park after joint administration of the parks was instituted in 1941. Pusateri was a ranger and naturalist in both parks. A revised edition was published in 1952 with text abridged and pictorial material expanded. The best text is that of the 1949 edition. Owner's name and address on recto of first leaf. Page edges a bit tanned (common to this book), a very good copy. (#179353).
