A broadside reproducing one of the thirteen chromolithograph plates from YOSEMITE ILLUSTRATED IN COLORS, a garish Victorian parlor book illustrating Yosemite Valley in vivid color. The chromolithographic views often were used with promotional material issued by various California merchants in a number of formats, including broadsides which reproduced a chromolithograph, advertising copy and occasionally part of a poem. This example advertises "Yosemite Brand grown and packed by the Union Co-operative Packing Associated represented by the Co-operative Packers' Association[,] Fresno,California." See Currey and Kruska 97. Several rubs, several small stains and some dust soiling, several faint creases, tiny pin hole at center near top edge, a good copy. These advertising broadsides a rare.
