A mixed collection of short fiction which includes several ghost stories and four science fiction stories; "The Hidden Continent," a lost race tale set in the Arctic, "An Inter-Stellar Voyage," a rather didactic tale of interplanetary and interstellar exploration, "The Darkened Days: A Celestial Menace," a alien invasion tale, and "In the Days of the Monster Plants: A Nightmare of Nature," a catastrophe story featuring gigantic plants which destroy crop land and cities, toppling all but the largest buildings.
