MEXICAN TRAIL. New York: Alfred H. King, Inc., [1933]. Octavo, pp. [3-8] 9-289 [290: blank] [note: text complete despite gap in pagination], original blue cloth, front and spine panels stamped in yellow, top edge stained yellow, other edges untrimmed. First edition. Presentation copy with signed inscription by Jenkins on front free endpaper: "5 / 3 / 33 / To Bill Haas / The friend of a friend / whose friendship proves / Bill Haas a good egg. / Will Jenkins." Top edge stain a bit faded, upper corner tips lightly bruised, else a bright, nearly fine copy in very good four-color dust jacket with shelf wear and fraying with slight loss at head and tail of spine panel and corner tips, several short closed tears along folds, some rubbing along front flap fold, and minor dust soiling to rear panel.
