The second book published in Constable's "Acme Library" series. Issued both in paper wrappers and in cloth, this being one of latter. A short sensational novel set in a remote fishing village on the Aberdeenshire coast of Scotland. Dalby 8b. Early owner's signature on front free endpaper. Cloth rubbed at spine ends, corner tips and along outer joints, several tiny marks to cloth on front cover (possibly a touch of insect tracking), free endpapers darkened, a bright, tight, very good copy.
