Bradbury, Ray. TYPED LETTER SIGNED (TLS). 1 page, dated 18 August 1954, to "Les" [probably Les Cole], signed "Ray." Bradbury sends his "belated dollar for membership" in the 1954 World Science Fiction Convention, in San Francisco, and sends several items for the Convention's auction which he hopes "will be of some small financial benefit to the affair." Bradbury doubts "I'll make it North. Today, one year ago, [John] Huston called me to do MOBY. And today, a year later, I find my harpoon still dipped in ink, scratching a dim legend for cinematic posterity ..." Faint paper clip stain at upper left corner, else fine. (#96323).
