Includes an account of a trip from Fresno to Shaver and Big Creek made by Mark and Jennie Waterbury in 1911 based upon the latter's recollection of the outing. The Waterburys spent the summer of 1911 at Shaver where Mark operated a photographic studio and made an extensive series of photographs of the region. Some of the photographs, printed from glass negatives, are reproduced here. Many depict scenes which are now under the water of Shaver Lake. A fine copy. (#179339).
