It was preceded by DARK DAYS, a 33-page paperbound chapbook with four very short stories published by The Talbot Press in 1918. NCBEL III 1943. Early owner's signature dated March 1920 on front free endpaper. 10 mm chip from each spine end, corner tips lightly worn, free endpapers tanned, a bit of patchy darkening to boards, still a very good copy.
