TYPED LETTER SIGNED (TLS). 1 page on plain letter-size paper with Weiss's Tucson address at upper right, dated 31 November 1932, to E. Hoffmann Price. Weiss (?1898-1946), a Canadian-born writer who produced some weird tales and science fiction under the Flagg pen-name, corresponded sporadically with H. P. Lovecraft during the 1930s. Price was a prolific contributor to the pulps. Here he apologizes to Price for the delay in answering his mail, blaming illness and lethargy due to the economic depression, mournfully recounting some setbacks in placing stories. He mentions that he has not met Lovecraft in person though he has corresponded with him, and treasures both his letters and his fiction. "I consider him somewhat of a genius ..."
