Collects fifteen tales, some criminous, most humorous, with prologue and epilogue. One, just 900 words long, won a $3000 prize offered by LIFE magazine. Hubin (1994), p. 183. Faint damp stains to cloth (not unsightly, just taking the gloss off it), a very good copy in very good printed dust jacket with matching stain on inner surface but without show-through on outer surface. The jacket presents well externally (#134496).
