"When the World Crashed!" in CHAMPION LIBRARY. [London: The Amalgamated Press], 4 April 1935 (number 150). Octavo, pp. 64, printed in double columns, pictorial wrappers. A would-be world dictator, Miskoff, seems to be engineering natural catastrophes to blackmail world governments. Two Brits, Grip and Shorty, board their super-plane, The Meteor, to battle the villain against a background of missing blueprints for a death-ray. The novella takes up the entire issue. Slight spine roll, small inch-wide stain wrapping around midsection of spine from old cello-tape repair (since removed), remainder sticker on front cover, faint stain to a small section of fore-edge, still generally a better than average copy. (#142187).
