(#142188) "Terror from the Stratosphere" in CHAMPION LIBRARY. Jack CHAMPION LIBRARY. Maxwell.

"Terror from the Stratosphere" in CHAMPION LIBRARY. [London: The Amalgamated Press], 4 February 1937 (number 193). Octavo, pp. 64, printed in double columns, pictorial wrappers. A scientific master-crook, Captain Crash, uses "The Terror," a gigantic submersible helicopter strato-plane, to bomb and gas the financial center of London and rob the Bank of England. Only Gary Coleman, with his own helicopter, can stop Crash. Aerial battles ensue, spreading at one point to New York City and at another point to the stratosphere 70 miles above the Earth. The novella takes up the entire issue. Slight stain to covers from rusted staple, a very good copy. (#142188).
