First edition in English. Part of a uniform edition of "The Novels of Alexandre Dumas." Issued in cloth and in paper wrappers, this being one of the latter. The paperbound copies do not include the three color plates inserted in the clothbound copies, but one of the illustrations by Frank Adams is reproduced in black and white on the front cover.
