First edition. A complex children's fantasy in which a young girl visits the wonderland of her own imagination. A favorite of SF writer Theodore Sturgeon, whose essay on it, "The Search for the Plynck," helped get the book reprinted. Early owner's bookplate affixed to front free endpaper. A fine copy in good price-clipped dust jacket with light wear at edges, faint damp stain along top edge of rear panel, and closed tears in front panel with internal tape mends. A scarce book rarely found with its jacket. (#161885).
