Adaptation of the 1958 Producers Associates film produced by John Croydon, starring Boris Karloff, released in the U.S. by MGM as "The Haunted Strangler." A Jekyll-Hyde type horror thriller set in Victorian London in which a college professor discovers he is an insane killer thought long dead. The film is well thought of due to Karloff’s fine performance. It was included in a Criterion collection of films a few years ago. Reginald 03390. Hubin (1994), p. 187. A very good copy.
