Commemorative medal forged by the Medal Arts Company, New York, in 1929. Recto has an image of the Stourbridge Lion and text reading "The Stourbridge Lion / 1829 1929 / The Delaware and Hudson Company." The verso reads: "[D&H logo] / Commemorating the / one hundredth anniversary /of the first successful trip / made in America by a stream locomotive / at Honesdale Pennsylvania / August 8 1829 / by the Stourbridge Lion / driven by Horatio Allen."
