Vintage silver gelatin print, 28x11.5 cm (11 x 4 1/2 inches) titled "Redwood Highway, Calif." in the negative with "Patterson - 113" in the negative below the title. The image was probably taken by Oregon photographer Frank Patterson who, according to Mautz, "traveled throughout northwest California circa 1915, from Ashland, Oregon." Patterson was a major producer of stereo views and postcards, active in Hood, Oregon in 1911 and in Ashland, Oregon, and Northern California thereafter. Very good. (#167535).
