A circular for the arrest and detention of three men and a woman wanted for swindling M. W. Gregg in a fake game of pool. According to the history of the case, "these men are good pool and billiard players and may be found in places of that kind." At head of title: "Office of the Chief of Police / Bureau of Identification." Dated "March 28, 1911" and signed "John F. Seymour, Chief of Police." Printed by the Pernau Publishing Company, a San Francisco firm that printed a large quantity of legal documents for the city and for others. Chip affecting the text, removing the "f" in "for" in first line of title. Two punch holes for filing, verso tanned, a good copy. (#167560).
