GARFIELD ALBUM [cover title]. [New York: Published & copyrighted, 1885, by Adolph Wittemann, 25 Park Place, New York], n.d. [1880s]. 12.7x8.5 cm, single sheet over five feet long with 14 panels pasted to the inside front cover folded accordion-style into original brown cloth portfolio printed in black. First edition? A memorial view book with photolithographic illustrations in honor of James A. Garfield who was assassinated in 1881. A few panels are detached along folds and there are some reinforcements with stamp hinges on versos of others, a good copy with clean and bright images. OCLC reports three copies. (#167712).
