Rayleigh, Essex, UK: Woodwork Publications, Number 1 (1986). Octavo, pictorial wrappers, stapled. Number 15 of 25 special copies with a poem signed by Lumley tipped in on the inside rear cover. These copies were not for sale. They were "distributed to contributors and persons who have helped in the creation of OUT OF THE WOODWORK." A 36-page magazine chock full of interesting material, mostly articles on horror and supernatural fiction, including the first appearance of "de Marigay's Clock" by Brian Lumley, a Cthulhu story featuring Titus Crow, and articles on work by Walter Owen (THE CROSS OF CARL), Brian Lumley, Lord Dunsany, Clive Barker and Algernon Blackwood, the latter being a summary of the Derleth-Blackwood Correspondence by Mike Ashley. Apparently, the only issue of this amateur magazine. A fine copy. (#169610).
