First edition in English. A presentation copy with signed inscription by Bosschère to P. A. Ketpie dated 4 May 1920 on the front free endpaper. Accompanied by a two-page handwritten note, to "Dear Sir," dated 28 April, no year, arranging a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, arriving on 3 May and meeting with the addressee (probably Mr. Ketpie) on 4 May. First book in English by Jean de Bosschère (1878-1953), Belgian symbolist/decadent poet, artist and book illustrator, with a 29-page introduction by May Sinclair. A fine copy. (#169617).
