First edition, first binding. A translation of eleven (of the twenty-five) Hindu fairy tales told by a Baital, "a huge Bat, Vampire, or Evil Spirit which inhabited and animated dead bodies." Bleiler (1978), p. 36. Shallow chips from spine ends, inner front hinge cracked but holding tight, a good, sound copy. A better than average copy of a scarce book. (#170035).
