What to do in Yosemite[.] This folder is intended, primarily, for the summer season. Throughout the year the weekly "Visitor's Guide" gives you a complete, detailed, day-by-day program ... Ask about discounts for stays of 3 or more days [cover title]. N.p. [Yosemite National Park, California: Yosemite Park and Curry Co.], n.d. [mid 1930s]. Single sheet, 23x41 cm, folded to make eight panels, printed in orange and black, 3 maps. A list of summer motor trips and saddle trips offered by the Yosemite Park and Curry Co., plus a short list of "other diversions" for park visitors. The verso is "Map of Yosemite National Park Showing Routes of Yosemite Transportation System, High Sierra Camps and Pack Trip Country, drawn by Della Taylor Hoss, with smaller inset map of California showing major automobile and railroad routes to the park. "Map of the Floor of Yosemite Valley[,] Yosemite National Park, California," a smaller map on the recto, was also drawn by Hoss. The five High Sierra camps were Merced Lake, Vogelsang, Tuolumne Meadows, Glen Aulin, and Tenaya Lake. For more information on High Sierra camps there was a "High Sierra Vacations" folder. Also available was Yosemite winter sports folder. This undated folder was issued after completion of the Wawona Road tunnel in 1933 and before 1938 when the May Lake High Sierra camp was established. A very good copy. (#170459).
