It was preceded by DARK DAYS, a 33-page paperbound chapbook with four very short stories published by The Talbot Press in 1918. NCBEL III 1943. Private owner's bookplate affixed to the front paste-down. Lower spine end a bit bruised, strip of tanning to free endpapers near gutter margin, else a fine copy in pictorial dust jacket with light wear at upper spine end and corner tips and a 30x15 mm piece clipped from the lower spine end.
