Cross-dressing techno-thriller, set in the near future in Tasmania, India and elsewhere, about the discovery of Kilburnite and the perfection of the Munro Storage Battery, a battery about the size of a suitcase which can propel an electrically driven aircraft ten thousand miles without recharging. The inventor's nephew is given the task of keeping the prototype and the formula out of the hands of foreign criminals and delivering it to British authorities in England, which he does mostly disguised as a woman.
