Promotes the serialization of LIVING OF DEAD, Fargus's posthumously published last novel. He died prematurely in 1885 from tuberculosis, aggravated by typhoid. The broadside is illustrated with a picture of a newsboy hawking an issue of the Boston Herald giving the circulation of the paper at 302,030 as of 5 November 1884.
