Promotes the Delaware and Hudson Canal Company for travel to and from the Ausable Chasm and the Lake View House at Ausable Chasm, as well as stage service from Lake View House to Saranac and St. Regis Lakes. Map on verso, "Routes to Au Sable Chasm, and to and from the Saranacs[,] St. Regis and the Adirondacks, by Way of Port Kent and Au Sable Chasm," has printer's imprint "Rand, Avery & Co., Map-Engravers and Printers, Boston." Not in Cole or Plum. Several short tears at edges of folds and intersections, some dust soiling, a very good copy. OCLC reports a single copy (Southern Methodist University). Rare. (#173162).
