THE SIGN OF THE BURNING HART: A TALE OF ARCADIA. Typed manuscript, signed (TMsS). A carbon copy of an undated 114-page typescript, heavily corrected throughout by Keller. A presentation copy bound in three-quarter leather and cloth, inscribed by Keller on the title leaf: "Presented to my friend Alex Asheroff / Aug 15 -- 48 / David H. Keller MD." THE SIGN OF THE BURNING HART: A TALE OF ARCADIA was first published in an edition of 100 copies in Saint-Lo, France, in 1938. It was reprinted in America in 1948 by The National Fantasy Fan Federation. "A utopian fantasy, composed of four loosely connected tales, that is written very much in the style of James Branch Cabell. Recognized by many as Keller's best work." - Schlobin, The Literature of Fantasy 572. Binding rubbed, but quite sound, text clean. (#174177).
