Sturgeon, Theodore. TWO TYPED LETTERS SIGNED (TLsS). Each 1 page, dated 27 July 1949 and 29 July, n.y. [but 1949] respectively, to Charles Tanner, the first, on Time Incorporated letterhead, signed in full, the second, on Fortune letterhead, signed "Ted." Accompanied by a telegram from Sturgeon to Tanner dated 1 September 1949. Sturgeon asks Tanner to make a hotel reservation ("something middling nice") for himself and his future wife for Cinvention (the seventh World Science Fiction Convention). The telegram cancels his attendance at the convention due to other plans, a honeymoon elsewhere. All have old mailing folds; letters and telegram are very good. (#174582).
