Novelette first published in ASTOUNDING STORIES, November 1936. A very early published story by Rocklynne, "one of the better hard sf writers of the day" (Bleiler). Anton Laval, a space pirate, saves Earth from a small sun "that has ripped the barriers into our universe and is manifesting itself in a fragmentary way" (Bleiler), by moving it to a new orbit. Bleiler, Science-Fiction: The Gernsback Years 1212. First and last leaves chipped at edges, some other leaves worn and frayed at edges, but overall they are not brittle; good or better overall. Vintage pulp fiction manuscripts from this period are rare. (#174591).
