Burks, Arthur J. TWO TYPED LETTERS, SIGNED (TLsS). Each 1 page. Dated 5 April 1952 and 13 April 1953 respectively. To T. E. Dikty. Typed on 8.5x11 inch plain paper stock, both signed in full. Short letters, one a submission cover letter, the other asking about the status of the manuscripts, SECRETS OF THE AMAZON and MAZE submitted to SHASTA PUBLISHERS. Accompanied by a carbon of a typed letter from Dikty to Burks dated 29 May 1953 that rejected the novels which were retuned "express collect." Burks letters have old mailing creases, one is a bit soiled; very good overall. (#174593).
