Novelization of the 1940 film starring Albert Dekker as the ruthless mad scientist in the Peruvian jungle who uses radioactivity to miniaturize living things, including human beings who are reduced to one fifth of their natural size. The novel, often attributed to, but not by, Henry Kuttner, was perhaps written by Alexander Samalman. Kuttner did write a shorter magazine version from the film script which was published in THRILLING WONDER STORIES, June 1940. Reginald 08491. A much better than average copy of this book. From the library of a well-known mystery writer with his library stamp on the front paste-down. (#176487).
