Brooks' introduction focuses on his analysis of the deficiencies of the state's just passed Revenue Law of 1860. Outer leaves stained and soiled, binding thread loose, first two leaves detached, several fore-edge corners of untrimmed leaves lightly chipped or dog-eared, a good copy. All early California documents in their original state are now seldom found in commerce in any condition. (#179183).
