One of a series of promotional pamphlets prepared by the United States Railroad Administration to advertise America's western national parks and monuments. The Railroad Administration, created to operate the nation's railroads during the First World War, was not abolished until March 1, 1920. During the postwar period it sponsored and distributed some 2,500,000 pieces of promotional literature on the nation's national parks and monuments. 80 mm closed tear at lower edge of spine panel, some light dust soiling to covers, a good copy.
