TWO-PAGE TYPEWRITTEN LETTER ON THE TIME TRAVELLER LETTERHEAD TO "DEAR LESTER" [LESTER A. ANDERSON], DATED 21 APRIL 1933, SIGNED BY CONTRIBUTING EDITOR FORREST J. ACKERMAN. A long letter largely devoted to acquiring out-of-print science fiction books and magazines, speculating on why science fiction and fantasy magazine fiction has rarely been republished in book form, and the resurgence of magazine publishing "when prosperity returns." THE TIME TRAVELLER (January 1932-Winter 1933) merged with SCIENCE FICTION DIGEST, which commenced publication in September 1932. Letters tanned, paperclip mark at top edge of first page, old mailing creases, very good. (#179854).
